Coach Mike UrbanMike is the current L’Anse Creuse Middle School Central 7th and 8th grade volleyball coach and has been there for the past 4 years. Mike has a passion for coaching volleyball and builds players up with team spirit while learning and developing their needed skillset for the positions and the game. He loves teams with great chemistry, high energy, that work hard and have fun. Mike previously coached softball and has been with the Crank It family for 5 years.
Mike grew up in St. Clair Shores and graduated from Lake Shore High School. He is a Quality Engineer for a Manufacturing Company that builds medical devices. Mike is married with three daughters. Two of his daughters played for Crank It and he fell in love with volleyball cheering for them on from the sidelines. Outside of volleyball, he loves spending time with his family, pets (4 dogs, 4 cats) and playing goalie in adult league Hockey. |
