Jessie graduated from Stevenson High School where she was a multi-sport athlete (soccer, basketball and volleyball, and playing softball in a recreational league). She earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Central Michigan University, and a Master’s Degree from Capella University in behavior analysis. Jessie started her career in teaching and coaching at L’Anse Creuse High School in 2009. She began coaching with Crank It in 2014 and has coached multiple levels with the club. She is also the current 8th grade volleyball coach at Anchor Bay Middle School South and has been since 2015. Currently, Jessie works as a special services teacher at Eisenhower High School and a registered behavior technician at a clinic near her house. Jessie is passionate about coaching and shaping young athletes into strong, smart, competitors. In addition to volleyball specific skills, Jessie focuses on sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, and work ethic as a foundation for the athletes she coaches. Jessie strives to provide a fun, competitive experience for her players.
