Kristy loves volleyball and has devoted herself to it, coaching and playing since middle school. She is currently the head varsity coach at Anchor Bay High School, where she has been since 2019, winning MAC Red titles in 2019 and 2021. Before coaching at Anchor Bay, Kristy was the assistant varsity coach at LCN and held the head varsity coach position at Lutheran North from 2011 - 2018, with a one-year hiatus in 2015 to assist at SC4 (St. Clair Community College). She played high school volleyball in the area at Anchor Bay, and played in college at Ferris State from 2005-2010, where she was a 4-year all-conference middle and 1000-kill performer. Kristy has coached club volleyball for several years. Since 2015, she coached various levels with Crank It and assists with training players and coaches. Coaching is her passion and she loves to work with players of all ages, skill levels, and positions helping them have a great experience and love for the sport they play. Kristy is devoted to her family: her husband Joe and four young boys and spends any free time she has with them.
