​Coach Kacie Miyama

Kacie was born and raised in Hawai’i where she played volleyball since the age of 10. She went to play at Graceland University, where she pursued a degree in Elementary Education and received All-Conference awards as a libero and setter. She also served as a student assistant/coach for the men's JV and varsity team there. During her time at Graceland, she coached at Yellowjackets VBC, while also assisting her club back home in the summers. After graduating, she taught 3rd grade for a couple years and was an assistant varsity and JV coach at South Harrison High School in Missouri, while earning her Master’s. She moved to Michigan in 2023, where she continued to teach and is now an assistant coach at SC4.
